How does Littlebird see what is on my screen?
Littlebird reads the text and elements of your active window via macOS accessibility permissions. You grant those permissions yourself during setup, and nothing is collected without your permission. You can pause context collection, exclude specific apps, and delete your data at any time.

Littlebird pays attention to the active window you are working in. That screenreading is what lets it answer questions and draft content grounded in your real work, without you pasting anything in.
The honest frame on where that context goes: the app runs on your computer, and the memory it builds is encrypted and stored in the AWS cloud. You control what Littlebird sees, and you can delete your data at any time (all of it, or the last hour or day).
You also decide whether Littlebird runs at startup. If there is an app or a moment you want kept out of your memory, exclusions and pause are always available.
